El director de Batman, Matt Reeves, confirmó que Andy Serkis ha sido elegido como el fiel mayordomo y mentor de Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth.
Reeves tomó Twitter para compartir el mensaje «¡Y aquí viene Alfred!» con imágenes de Serkis corriendo por una alfombra roja de fanáticos.
Serkis y Reeves trabajaron juntos anteriormente en Dawn of the Planet of the Apes y War for the Planet of the Apes.
